4 WEEKS. 1 PLACEMENT. LET’S GO, CARSON!

We knew we had a good one when @carsonwoodard_ joined Elevate Search… but a placement in her 4th week is CRAZY?!! 👏🏼🔥

As our Sourcing Specialist, Carson has jumped in with both feet and has already made a BIG impact on our team. She’s been sourcing incredible candidates across all of our open roles(and they are difficult, ya’ll), scheduling interviews, learning the business, and somehow making it all look natural.

Her work ethic, positive attitude, and eye for talent have stood out from day one, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch her grow into a full desk recruiter.

Congratulations, Carson! We are SO happy you’re part of Team Elevate!

Here’s to the first of MANY placements! 🥂🎉

Last night was such a fun night celebrating the launch of @theknowwomen Houston volume 2! ✨

I’m incredibly grateful to have been included in this issue through @houstonbusinesswomen and to be surrounded by so many women who are building businesses, creating opportunities, and cheering each other on along the way.

Shout out to my husband, @courtneyray72, and my team for joining me and always showing support. I am very grateful! 🙏🏼 taken in Houston, Texas by @elevatesearchllc

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost five years since I walked away from the only company I’d known for nearly 17 years to begin my entrepreneurial journey.

At the time, I knew I wanted more. I wanted the opportunity to build something that reflected my values, my vision, and the way I believed recruiting should be done.

What I didn’t know was just how much the journey would teach me, or how long it would take to fully take the leap on my own.

There have been incredible highs and some incredibly difficult moments. Wins worth celebrating, setbacks that tested me, and plenty of lessons I could have never learned by staying comfortable.

Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Every challenge has shaped me into a better leader. Every success has reminded me why I took the leap in the first place. I’ve grown professionally, personally, and in ways I never expected.

Today, what excites me most isn’t just building Elevate Search, it’s building a team. Watching talented recruiters grow in confidence, develop their careers, and celebrate their own successes has become one of the best parts. I’m looking forward to adding 2 new employees to the team this month. 😊

Entrepreneurship isn’t always easy, but it has been worth every lesson.

Here’s to the next five years of continued growth, learning, and helping great people find great opportunities. taken in Downtown Houston by @elevatesearchllc

Thank you to Shelley Ray, Founder of Elevate Search LLC, for joining us on the HBW Podcast and sharing so many valuable insights into hiring, interviewing, and knowing when it’s time to bet on yourself.

Sometimes the hardest career move isn’t taking the leap, it’s giving yourself permission to believe you’re ready for it.

Whether you’re preparing for your next interview, thinking about a career change, or simply wondering what’s next, Shelley’s perspective is a reminder that the right opportunity often starts with one brave decision.

Thank you to our sponsors @elevate.x.marketing & @theauthenticmediaco and our partners at @201lofthaus for making this podcast series possible!

Celebrating a record-breaking June with my incredible team! 🎉

Yesterday we hit pause on recruiting for a few hours to celebrate our best month since Elevate started in September.

We kicked things off with a team lunch at Annabelle Brasserie, followed by mani’s and pedi’s because wins deserve to be celebrated. 💅🥂

Building Elevate Search has never been just about making placements. It’s about creating a company where people genuinely enjoy working together, support one another, and celebrate each other’s success along the way.

I’m so grateful for this team and everything they’ve accomplished. Their hard work, resilience, and commitment to our clients and candidates are what made this month possible.

Here’s to carrying this momentum into the second half of the year and continuing to grow together. The best is yet to come.

Thank you to our clients for trusting us with your hiring needs and to our candidates for allowing us to be part of your career journey. ❤️

Sometimes the biggest growth happens when you take a moment to look back and realize how far you’ve come.

Starting a business wasn’t just about building a company. It was about building something that reflects my values—integrity, transparency, relationships, and a commitment to helping others succeed.

The journey hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has helped shape the vision for what Elevate Search is becoming.

Still grateful. Still learning. Still growing.

I had the opportunity to sit down with @jessicamartinhowell for the @houstonbusinesswomen Podcast this morning. This was my first time on a podcast and I didn’t know what to expect but it was so relaxed and ended up being a lot of fun. We chatted about hiring in Houston, what we see on our side of the table as Recruiters, and my journey to entrepreneurship. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to the episode coming out! by @elevatesearchllc
