I’m still sitting with so much gratitude in my heart.
I LOVE love and I value my friendships. Thank you to every single woman who showed up for the very first Empowered 2 Elevate event.
Thank you for saying yes.Thank you for trusting the invitation.Thank you for walking into the room exactly as you are.
Every one of you brought something special with you, your energy, your vulnerability, your strength and your laughter. The room was full of beauty, not just on the outside (because SHEESH 😍), but on a soul level. It was powerful. It was intentional. It was real.
My prayer going into this event was simple: that it would meet each of you exactly where you are and remind you of who you already are. If you left feeling seen, encouraged, affirmed, or even just a little more connected to yourself or to someone else, then it did exactly what it was meant to do.
What moved me the most was watching connections form naturally. Conversations that mattered. Women supporting women without comparison, without pressure, just genuine presence. That’s the heart of Empowered 2 Elevate.

Nobody talks enough about the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.

The freedom, the excitement, the uncertainty, the financial highs and lows, and the moments when you question every decision you’ve ever made.

Going from building something of your own to re-entering the workforce was one of the most HUMBLING experiences of my life.
Looking back, I needed it.

What I thought was a step backward actually helped me find my confidence again. It reminded me of what I’m capable of, taught me lessons I didn’t know I needed, and gave me the opportunity to show up and grow in ways I hadn’t expected.

And for that, I’m genuinely grateful. ❤️

But now it’s time.

I’ve officially put in my notice, and I’m preparing to step back into entrepreneurship full-time!

Am I nervous? HELL YEAH! 😂

Do I have everything figured out? Absolutely NOT.

But I’ve learned that confidence isn’t always about knowing everything will work out. Sometimes it’s about trusting yourself enough to try anyway.

I’m proud of the chapter I’m closing, grateful for everything it taught me, and excited (and terrified 😂) about the one I’m opening.

I’m not starting from scratch. I’m starting from experience.

And after a hard ass season of my life… here’s to getting back up, dusting myself off, and betting on myself EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 🥂❤️

Apparently September is Life Insurance Awareness Month.

Lucky for y’all I’m still licensed! And it gives me an entire month to get on yalls nervesssssss 😂

No but fr. This month I want to do something a little different.

At some point during the month, I’m going to talk about my grandma passing away in February of last year and some of the things I learned going through that process. 😭

Andddddd I’m not going to spend 30 days yelling, “BUY LIFE INSURANCE!” at everybody.

I want to actually talk about it.

Like…. how much coverage do you really need?

Is the policy through your job enough?

What happens to that coverage if you leave your job?

Do single people need life insurance?

What about people without kids?

And one of the biggest questions…

How much does it actually cost?

People don’t avoid life insurance because they don’t care about their families. Sometimes they avoid it because nobody ever explained it to them in a way that actually made sense.

And if you know me in real life, you already know I’m an educator AND an over explainer. 🫣😬☺️

So for September, inbox me. Ask me questions.

Even if you think it’s a dumb question.

I’d much rather you ask me a “dumb” question today than have your family trying to figure everything out during one of the worst times of their lives.

I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t in a “rush” to get somewhere.

Constantly feeling like I was “behind” kept me living in a state of anxiety. Always chasing something, always convinced I should be further along, and feeling defeated whenever I wasn’t.

It feels so good to finally be at peace with knowing I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

I spent a lot of time cutting cords, cleaning up messes, closing chapters, and letting go of dead weight. Not necessarily out of anger or bitterness, but because I needed to create room for what’s next.

For first time in a long time, I don’t feel like I need to rush toward anything. I just need to keep showing up for myself.
I’m not behind.

I’ve released false senses of urgency, making room for what’s next, and trusting that what’s meant for me won’t require me to chase it. by @elevatewithbre

One thing I learned from my first set of kids is that time can be a thief if you let it.
