Snappers 📢

Do you want to separate yourself from the pack?

Let me ask you something…

How detailed is your training?

Are you just snapping a football, or are you intentionally breaking down your mechanics, identifying weaknesses, and improving the small details that make the biggest difference on game day?

That’s where Elevation Athletic Edge comes in.

Every session is built around purposeful reps, technical development, and creating consistency under pressure—because that’s what earns trust from coaches.

SNAPPERS 📢: When breaking down your protection footwork. Body position is key. After creating separation off the line, make sure to keep your chest over your knees. We want to create a good downhill position ready to absorb and create contact‼️ You NEED to be able to create contact at the highest level

YOUNG SNAPPERS STRUGGLING WITH FIELD GOAL📢: Why is it important to have a clean punch at the end of your snap? Because your barrel controls your ball path. A weak finish means weak rotation AND it can mess with the location of the ball. When it comes to field goal snaps a solid punch can make up for a lot of sequencing errors! At the end of the day, just have a catch with your holder!

@shanes_sullivan found his edge today ‼️ Here are some before and after clips! Today we worked on creating a lower swing path. I noticed that he was pulling the ball towards his head before trying to swing. We also adjusted his grip to make sure his ball was coming out evenly.

@vinnybutler found his edge today ‼️ Here are some before and after clips! In order to get him ready to compete in upcoming snapping camps, we worked on body control as well as staying grounded through his swing. Vinny learned that it is important to be smooth rather than tense through the throw! Snapping should be an effortless motion. He also worked on having a release point to the punter

Everyone talks about the snap.

Not enough people talk about what happens next.

As a long snapper, your job isn’t finished when the ball leaves your hands. Your ability to get downfield, take the proper angle, avoid blocks, and make a tackle can completely change field position.

The best long snappers aren’t just accurate—they’re complete football players. Coaches want a weapon on special teams!

At Elevation Athletic Edge, we train:
• Release technique
• Explosive first steps after the snap
• Understanding leverage
• Block destruction techniques
• Using the “long arm” in coverage

Every athlete is looking for an edge.

The difference isn’t talent—it’s preparation, consistency, and attention to detail.

That’s what Elevation Athletic Edge is built on.

As a Division I long snapper with SEC game experience and a two-time All-Conference selection, I’ve learned what separates good athletes from great ones. Now I’m bringing that experience to athletes who are serious about improving.

Whether you’re just starting out or chasing the next level, my goal is simple:

⚡ Develop elite technique
⚡ Build confidence through repetition
⚡ Create game-ready athletes
⚡ Help you find your edge

This is just the beginning.

Long snapping is where we start. Athlete development is where we’re headed.
