Just Know When You See This, I showed Up: Truly honored to receive the “2026 Individual Innovator Award" at the Connecticut Science Center’s Annual Gala, celebrating the theme “I Want My STEM TV!”

I've always believed that when creativity meets opportunity and passion meets purpose, anything is possible!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Connecticut Science Center for this incredible recognition, my old employer @cigna for being the lead sponsor, Bill Harmer from the Westport Library where I am on the Advisory Board and Bob Bausmith , Board Chair for the Hartford Symphony Orchestra where I sit on the board, Dr. Ogbar from UConn who appointed me an Artist-in-Residence at UConn for showing up to celebrate with me, and to my family, friends, and everyone who continues to support the vision!

This award is bigger than me. It's about inspiring the next generation to dream bigger, break barriers, and create the future they want to see!

Full-circle moment. 🖤🏆

In 2014, I was honored as one of the 100 Men of Color. This Friday, I return to the stage not as an honoree, but to speak, celebrate this year’s honorees, and pour back into a brotherhood that recognized something in me years ago.

And I’m bringing a special gift for every honoree. 🎁
