today is my birthday and i wanted to hop on here with a rare personal post. running this page has changed my life in ways i couldn’t have imagined when i first started posting about music from my cracked iphone 5 years ago. 🎂you guys allowed me to get on stage with some of my favorite artists & helped me to turn my dream of working in the music industry into reality. i’ll always be grateful for the countless people i met on here, many of which are some of my closest friends today.every single day i wake up and post throughout the day, i honestly don’t think i could live without running this stupid little instagram account, as weird as it sounds 😭😭thank you from the bottom of the heart, i mean it!!!!! throwing something on the grill for all of y’all today 🥂11 4 EVER !!!!!! 💛💛💛 by @elevenfourr

christopher nolan is one of the only directors in hollywood with full creative control - final cut, final say and even over how the trailers are made.to this day, he says he has never used a smartphone or any email service and still only carries a flip phone when travelling. he skips test screenings, edits in private, and usually doesn’t answer anyone.before all that, he self-funded his first movie called“following” for just $6k, shooting on weekends with leftover film stock and borrowed apartments.he’s widely regarded as one of the greatest directors in history and known for movies like inception, interstellar, the dark knight and now the odyssey. by @elevenfourr

never forget when people thought fousheé & steve lacy were dating 😭 their friendship is pretty wholesome, she said steve is “very honest” and that working with him makes it easier to be more open during the creative process and you can kind of see that connection in their music. they both have worked together in their projects, she’s contributed vocals and songwriting to “bad habit,” and on “sunshine,” and the two have performed together multiple times.the dating rumors came after the “double standard” video dropped, in which they kissed. fousheé later clarified that it was just an artistic choice. by @elevenfourr

ranking of EVERY song from playboi carti’s legendary single run leading up to ‘MUSIC’ 💿 how did i do??the slander is about to be crazy because this is basically impossible.. witnessing this in person while everyone was hyped for the album to finally drop was so fire.to me, H00DBYAIR remains the best one because it introduced us to this dark sound carti had on the whole album. him choosing this to be his opening song on stage only made it more iconic. 🐐and yes, ‘ALL RED’ is definitely top three.what’s your favorite?? by @elevenfourr
