Today is the 5 Year Anniversary of when my Queen Samantha and I first met at a Dodgers Game that @claytonkershaw pitched and the team won 8-0 vs the Reds on April 28, 2021. 🙏🏽 Samantha and I were married last year, and I’d like to take this opportunity to share some of our wedding photos on this joyous occasion. 💒 We were married in East LA at the Sanctuary of La Virgen de Guadalupe surrounded by family, friends, and especially our son Camilo. 🥰 Thanks to All that attended and have been part of our Love Story over the last 5 years. We are truly blessed, and I’m grateful to have finally met the love of my life & the girl of my dreams. 💘 The last 5 Years have been the most important and special time in my life, and I owe that all to my partner, my wife, and my Heart @iamlacorona. 👸🏻 by @elfeodemiguel
The #SaveElPino movement started over 2 years ago and to date has held back a proposed development at #ElPino in #EastLA. The cult classic film #BloodInBloodOut includes a scene where the character of #Miklo proclaims about the #BunyaTree in #EastLosAngeles, #ThatTreeIsEastLosToMe… me too @damianchapaofficialpage! 🌲 The #Community continues to call for the land to be declared a protected historical site and historic tree and for the area around El Pino to become a #PublicPark and not an unwanted #PrivateDevelopment. ✊🏽 ##CincoDeMayo is celebration held on #May5 to commemorate Mexico's victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862, led by General Ignacio Zaragoza. The victory over the French army was a morale boost for the #Mexicans… today we honor those fallen soldiers who made the sacrifice defending their homeland and in the same way, I’ll continue to defend #ThePino and #EastLos from external forces that want to #Gentrify the #Barrio. 🇲🇽 PS Dear @treepeople_org, your organizations name keeps getting mentioned by the developers head cheerleader and I don’t think your environmental organization wants to be associated with the destruction of the most visited tree in not only East LA but in all of #LosAngeles. 🌳 Visit SAVEELPINO.com for more information and a counter proposal by @elfeodemiguel
On this Winter Solstice, we want to announce that @iamlacorona and I are expecting our first child in April 2024… 🤰🏻 During this Holiday Season we want to thank our family and friends for their support and for helping keep this announcement under wraps until we were ready to share the news. 👩🏻‍🍼 We are forever grateful for this blessing and are humbled to help create this incredible gift of a new life. 💝 by @elfeodemiguel
And I Jack the Pumpkin King... 👑🎃🤴🏻 Camilo really enjoyed his Halloween season! 👻💀☠️ On this Day of the Dead, I'd like to honor the following people: Mi Guiri Josefina (Abuela) Mis Abuelos Miguel y Jose Mi Abuelita Angelita Mi Tía Elia, Tía Nena, y mi Tío José Mis Tíos Chava y José, y mi Tía Esperanza Chavita y mis todos mis Familiares Chapulín y mis Compás: Carlos, Soraya, Juan, Stanley, Limwell, Henry, y Roman... My mentors Rudy Acuna, Roberto Sifuentes, Alberto Garcia, & Celes King IV!!!! 🙏🏽 I hope to honor your life today & always! by @elfeodemiguel
Today we were tourists in our own city and spent some time in Hollywood... 🤩 First, we toured @thehollywoodroosevelt where many luminaries have spent time during the heyday of Tinseltown, and also where the first @theacademy awards were held... 🎞️ We finished the afternoon by watching @timburton's #NightmareBeforeChristmas in 4D at the @elcapitanthtre which even included a short program before the film! 🎥🎃🎅🏽🎄🤶🏽🎟️🎬 by @elfeodemiguel
Turning 50 Years Old is a Privilege especially when I consider that 3 of my favorite relatives all passed away around that age (too young)... 5️⃣0️⃣ This year has been incredibly humbling and beautiful. I'm especially grateful to my beautiful wife Samantha, my bright and healthy son Camilo, my loving parents, my amazing in-laws, plus my beloved family, friends, and community for being a part of this wonderful journey called life! 🙏🏽 I pray to Creator and the 4 Directions, and pray for the 7 Generations... I pray for Health and Help and the wherewithal to take care of all my responsibilities and live a life of service... 🧬 I'm truly honored to walk this earth, breathe in the air, capture that fire, and drink clean water. 🌎 😤🔥💧 by @elfeodemiguel
The Ticket Gods Pasky & my Compadre Tony were very generous this weekend, and I saw a masterpiece thrown by #TarikSkubal & @snellzilla4 looking a little rough... 💙⚾️❤️ The series is tied 1-1 between the @dodgers & the @braves. Los Angeles is on a quest to #3Peat and would become the first team in National League history to win 3 straight @mlb #WorldSeries Titles! 💙💙💙 I love baseball and spending time with my friends and family, and I understand what a privilege it is to attend these games in this brutal heat and also that the team owners are questionable and suspect. 🧐 PS I root for the players and the team and not the owner class and their politics, and I'm just here to enjoy the baseball and spend time with my beautiful family and homeboys. 🥰 Dodgers in 5... 🖐🏽 by @elfeodemiguel
The last day of September was a special night at the @hollywoodbowl thanks to the #TicketGod @thescenestar and of course the legendary @ruben.blades who put on a magical performance! 🏟️ 🇵🇦🧙🏽‍♂️ Camilo was the youngest audience member and @iamlacorona, @doyers42, + @canosonico hung out and try as we might, we were unable to find @leonarellano213 or Pasky! 🧒🏻👸🏻🧢🦁☮️ What an amazing way to spend a Wednesday night in the early days of Autumn. 🍂 #RubenBlades 🎼🎤🎹🪇🥁🎺🎵🪘🪊🪈🎷🎶 #HollywoodBowl by @elfeodemiguel
One Year Ago… ☝🏾 A Dream was fulfilled when @iamlacorona married me in East Los Angeles in front of our family & community. Camilo had the Best Day and his parents are grateful for his joy, his health, & his love… 🥰 Soon the air will be crisp and we’ll wonder when the sun will come back to visit. 🌞 by @elfeodemiguel
Happy Robert Vargas Day! We had the honor of collaborating with @therobertvargas on the monumental mural titled "Lessons in Humanity," honoring the late Dr. Rodolfo "Rudy" Acuña—the "Father of Chicano Studies." Unveiled in Boyle Heights, this powerful work pays tribute to Dr. Acuña’s enduring legacy as a pioneering historian, author of Occupied America, and founder of the Chicano Studies department at CSUN. Check out the video to see the behind-the-scenes process of Robert bringing this incredible tribute to life! Art builds understanding, preserves history, and unites our communities. Together, we stand against hate in all its forms. 💙 #LAvsHate #robertvargas #reporthate by @elfeodemiguel
