It’s often said that “it’s all about who you know” regarding the future, careers, ministries, etc. Honestly, I think this phrase we often quote in the context of future things should really be reapplied in the now…

It’s because I got to know these people I got through the good, bad, and the ugly. It’s because I not only got to know them, but I get to. What a privilege and honor it has been to be friends and know people that will stick up for you, laugh with you, cry with you, and be family with you.

It’s a gift from the Lord to acknowledge your friends as those that stick closer than brothers. There’s a lot more people that aren’t in this post that I’m so thankful for during my time at college and y’all know who you are.

Thanks mom and dad for pushing me, challenging me, and encouraging me to chase what God has called me to do. Thank you friends for being there every step. Thank you Lord for sustaining me. Thanks evangel, catty up always✊

It’s about who you know… thank God I know the best people around.

Today we’re celebrating Eli Strong and what God is doing through Limitless Church and Limitless YTH.

Eli has been in youth ministry a little over a year, has been on staff a little over a year, and has been part of Limitless Church for two years. In that short time, he’s watching God do something significant.

Every week, they’re seeing salvations. In just one year as a youth ministry, Limitless YTH has grown from 6 students to more than 115.

But Eli isn’t simply looking at what has already happened. He’s believing God for more salvations, more students being discipled and developed in their calling, and more encounters with the Holy Spirit.

In this season, God is teaching him that patience doesn’t always mean slow. As Eli put it, “What if patience in this next season means you actively waiting in his word?!”

And his encouragement to other youth pastors is simple:

“Pastor who God has entrusted into your leadership! Be the leader you would want to have!”

Would you pray for Eli—for supernatural focus and energy in this next dynamic season of their church—and for everything God is continuing to do through Limitless YTH?
