Just a full time lab tech + part time dog trainer living her track star dreams at @hyroxca

I really wanted to do Hyrox this year and really needed someone to say the words “yes” after breaking up with my ex it was really hard to someone but after my 4th attempt @lamisaamahmud instantly said yes!

During the 3 month of training I moved myself and my dogs back to Toronto, prepped and competed in a dog competition, juggled both jobs and tried to hold our lives together some how 😭😭

@lamisaamahmud thank you for saying yes, I couldn’t have done this without you 🤍
I’m so proud of us. I can say I’m truly walking out a different person after this race. I learn so much from you.

Thank you @johnlinrehab @thespotrpr for all the recovery and prep we did for the race

Thank you @kiranmacarena @micahbee for showing up and cheering me on. I can always rely on you 🤍

Thank you to the many of you that have been cheering for me through my phone.

Here’s to saying yes to the hard stuff, showing up exhausted, and doing it anyway. 🏁🤍

Losing only makes winning taste better 🤪

Thank you for all the mock trials and training given by @dankroftk9 @dk9nathan @irondogcanada
Without the mocks we wouldn’t get the exposure to practice on the field and the confidence!

To my dear friends @itsphoenixthebully @charlithesd and @micahbee @lamisaamahmud thank you for anyways cheering for me. Moving before a trial 10/10 would not recommend 😭😭😭

To my family I got to choose, thank you for choosing me back 🤍

I was talking to a friend recently, and my heart broke for both of us as we talked about wishing our parents could be there for moments like these.

But I think there’s something incredibly special about having friends who show up, stay, and truly choose you. Sometimes the family you choose becomes the family you needed all along. 🤍

Not knowing where we’re going to live with
2 weeks out from @irondogcanada
6 weeks out from @hyroxca

Is probabbbbbly the most ridiculous decision I’ve made but know this best for me. This experience is really teaching me to trust the process and surrender to the unknown because it will all work out🤍

This test was taken with Melissa @concussionrehab.ca back in 2022. After my car accident my eyes were never the same, driving was so scary because my eyes were so sensitive. I developed a deep fear of driving, I had to step away from the lab I worked at because I was getting migraines every day.

She really helped me with my rehab and paperwork to put me in a better place. I’m very due for an updated test, with better results. Stayyyy tunedddddd 🤍
