Hallel, my cowboy, my heroโ€ฆ Happy birthday! We visited you on Thursday to celebrate with you, I hate that this is the way I talk to you. You were the strongest, bravest, funniest, caring, loving and a huge inspiration. You were an amazing big brother. An incredible friend. And the best partner anyone could ask for. You really are a gift. You were the best cowboy. When I came to visit you on the farm during your ืจื’ื™ืœื” you picked me up from the bus stop on a horse! You always made friends so easily. You always made me happy and made me feel safe and loved and cared for. You always had the biggest smile and the calmest and happiest attitude. When we came to visit you we brought ice cream with, like the one we had on our first date. The world had you for 21 years, today youโ€™re meant to be 22. Another milestone I didnโ€™t want to reach without you. You will always be in my heart and in my thoughts. Your smile. Your jokes. Your hugs. Your warmth. Your laugh. You. I miss you. I miss it all. I talk to you through the stars and I know youโ€™re there. I talk to you in the rain and I can feel youโ€™re here. I say hello to you in the sunsets and I know you can hear me. Please keep showing up in all and more forms, so we can keep talking. Please watch over us and celebrate with us as we celebrate you. I love you cowboy, happy birthday ๐Ÿฅณโค๏ธ by @eli_4032
Cowboy. I hate that this is how Iโ€™m talking to you. Itโ€™s been 100 days without you. Without your smile, without your hugs, without your infectious laugh, without your voice, without you. Not a day goes by that I donโ€™t think about you. I keep thinking how selfish I am for wanting things to be different, knowing how much pain you were already in. It brings me a sort of comfort knowing you are no longer in any pain anymore. You brought me joy, peace, love and appreciation. You helped me overcome things and find solutions to problems that werenโ€™t yours to fix. You were my happy place. The reason I smiled. You gave me strength to get up on days I really wasnโ€™t with it. I look back at all the memories and think about all the things we didnโ€™t take pictures or videos of, the ones that are most precious to me, that will forever be just for you and me. I hope youโ€™re riding a horse somewhere within the stars and feeling free with no pain and only joy. I miss you and love you so much, and you will always have a part of heart, and I know that I have part of yours. Thank you for letting me in, for being a huge part of my life and for just being you โค๏ธ by @eli_4032

Cowboy, Happy 23rd Birthdayโ€ฆ but itโ€™s not. You were meant to be 23 today, but youโ€™re not. Iโ€™m 22 now but you will always be 21. Today dad and I went to the Hermon and har dov to make food for the soldiers. I saw snow. Remember when we planned to go to the Hermon for a weekend. We went through the Golan Heights. Thatโ€™s where you wanted to live. Build a house with a heard of sheep and a family. Remember? I told dad all about it. We barbecued meat and steak for all the soldiers. You loved steak. I remember you telling me how to season and cook it properly. Today Youโ€™d be telling me I was doing it all wrong. I told your story to anyone that would listen. I had you with me the whole day. In my heart and soul. You kept us safe. At random moments throughout the day Iโ€™d see something that would make me think of you like a sheep youโ€™d probably have or green ื›ื•ืžืชื•ืช. It hurts that youโ€™re not here with me. That youโ€™re not able to come do barbecues for soldiers or even just cooking us a steak dinner. I think if you and my heart is whole yet broken. I still canโ€™t figure it out. Your second birthday without you. More milestones with you. Everything I do is in your name and memory not in your arms. A part of me is always with you and a part of you is always with me. You keep me safe. You made me happy. You watch me from above and make sure I stay happy. I miss you. Your laugh, your jokes. Your hugs that solved all the problems. Your kisses that melted me from the inside out. Your presence that let me know Iโ€™m safe. You were and will always be my hero, my night in shining armour, my Cowboy, mine ๐Ÿ’”โค๏ธ I know youโ€™re watching over me, I hope youโ€™re proud of what you see. I miss you and I love you cowboy.
