The old dairy cultivating space for many things.

At the start of this year I watched flames roll over the mountains to take all I have ever known.

I would be lying if I said I fully accepted & respected my roots before this point.

I learnt everything I know in making & creating (‘art’) from the land, my ancestors & the stockmans way.

My mum, who is known as ‘Tex’, said to me at a very young age, “I can’t teach you how to cook or sew, but I can teach you how to ride a horse & muster”

I have a lot to owe for it.

Been stress€d, burnt out, in fight & flight & all that hot sh$t

When in these states I tend to up-cycle clothes, paint/dye more.

I think it’s because with these things, I do it solely for play. Idgaf what the outcome is. (Lol to an extent)
