My mother — mother of three kids, daughter of Marshall with two sons of Marshall and a beautiful daughter and grandson — holder of three degrees and woman married to her happiness and her other half Jacques , has graduated today, and I couldn’t be prouder of her 💚🤍💚🤍. My mom has been a sole parent to her children for years and has always been my rock. While parenting and even working with other kids, teaching them as her own, she has also put in the hard hours and accomplished earning three degrees — all while balancing everything. I couldn’t be more proud of her today, and even though I can’t be there to watch her in person, it means the world to even watch a live video of her walking across that stage. IMPORTANT INFO: Ok well maybe this is just important to me but, this was one of THE longest weekends of my life😮‍💨😮‍💨but I wouldn’t trade any part of it. As my last regular competition of my last year of all star it was too important to me to not care. I learned that sometimes I do mess up and there is such things as recovery or stepping back to make sure something is just perfect and I was taught that doesn’t mean you failed. I also felt the payoff of a lot of hard work. BADDIE5 placed how we wanted to and it was one of our sweetest victories. Gold and Crush did quite do the same but it was a victory in the sense that we proved to ourself that we can be great performers and hit what we have to or hold up everything no matter how weird it gets. I went into this season at tryouts committing to ONE TEAM and one team only. I’m not on THREE coming up on the end of this season 🥇🥈🥉 and no matter how tired I get or how frustrated I still wouldn’t want to leave any of these teams. Another thing that drives me is all the littles in the gym that somehow know my name and look up to me. Every picture they want or every caring hopeful sentence that comes from them makes me even happier to do what I do.
