So happy with the Work I produced freshman year.

I was finally able to mend the gap between my faith and my art! That’s something i’ve really been struggling with for some time now. I love being able to capture these unique moments and create meaningful photographs.

Shout out to @professor_jaclyn and @instalane for teaching me and can’t wait for many more classes with many more projects.

“The Turning Heart” This is my first self-portrait collection, and I’m incredibly grateful to finally share it. What started as an idea slowly became something much more personal. A reflection on surrender, transformation, and what it looks like to walk closer with Christ.

I’m really proud of how this series turned out and thankful for the chance to create something that brings together my faith and my photography. It means a lot to put this work into the world.

bittersweet…yeah, bittersweet

feel free to read what I have been thinking about

This past week has been a whirlwind of emotions. This week was homecoming, and my last football game. Which if you know me…i couldn’t wait. To be honest, I struggled with my love for football over the last two seasons. I lost my motivation and didn’t feel the drive to improve or play. If you told little me that i didn’t love football…i’m not sure what i’d say. i can’t explain how i feel, it’s a mix of relief and joy, but also a bittersweet sadness, knowing I’ll never step onto the field again, with the sound of the band and the crowd behind us.

Homecoming week was one of the best experiences of my life. My senior homecoming is something I’ll never forget. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who voted me onto the court, and even for prince. I used to be shy and awkward and never could’ve imagined being on court. I’ve grown So much in these 4 years in high-school and am so grateful i’m placed here.

On Friday night, I found myself thanking the Lord for the amazing life He’s given me. Standing in the pre-game huddle with my teammates, I felt this overwhelming sense of gratitude. I realized just how blessed I am. I would like to thank everyone who had made it this far because personally, i would’ve got distracted in the second sentence.
