NEW SPECIAL @merai.bar ‼️

for @bostonasianrestaurantweek a new special is being introduced for a limited time at @merai.bar in brookline! during may 2-11 come by to try their hot chicken sandwich, which is fried to perfection and coated in northern thai spice, topped with som tum slaw, all in a sesame brioche bun! they also have a drink special called “larb” which is essentially a spicy margarita using thai flavors! you don’t want to miss these specials!!!

we tried several of their other popular dishes and we enjoyed how they incorporated thai flavors into different cuisines, like the khao soi fettuccini! also, the kopimisu might have been the best tiramisu i’ve ever had - it has thai coffee and thai tea flavors!

ASIAN-INSPIRED BRUNCH IN BROOKLINE🍳

enjoy your classic brunch dishes with an asian twist at @esmaisbrookline in brookline! we loved the brunch dishes here. the french toast with an ube filling was insanely delicious and the fried chicken karaage milk bread was the best kind of upgraded breakfast sandwich! if you like your coffee strong, their coffee is for you - i loved their vietnamese egg coffee, which was so strong, creamy, and perfectly sweetened with condensed milk. brunch is only on the weekends, but check out their everyday lunch menu from 11am-4pm for similar items!

@novomarketplace recently opened and it’s THE place to be, with over a dozen food stalls, live performances, and a huge open space to hang out. i can’t wait to try all the stalls!!

what we got:

not sure why i haven’t tried @fivespices_house before, but i’m definitely going back after this meal. the roasted duck in chili broth was insanely good. definitely get the chilled sesame noodles and their mala dry pot, which is one of their popular items!
