Clove Hitch vs Pile Hitch 🪢👀 🔹 Clove Hitch: Quick, adjustable, and commonly used in climbing anchor systems. 🔹 Pile Hitch: Simple and easy to tie around posts or objects, easy to untie after load Did you know both of these hitches? 👇 Follow for more climbing, knots & rope-access tips! #climberspace #rockclimbing #rockclimbingaddict #climbing_worldwide #climb by @eliasisssa
Small mistake. Big consequences. ⚠️ Did you know that clipping the rope-side carabiner of a quickdraw into a bolt hanger can increase the risk of accidental unclipping? Here’s why orientation matters: 🔹 Bolt side: Loose carabiner (moves freely) 🔹 Rope side: Fixed carabiner (held in position) Incorrect positioning can allow the gate to interact with the bolt hanger, potentially causing accidental unclipping. ⚠️ Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and double-check your quickdraw orientation. Have you ever seen this happen? 👀 Follow for more climbing safety tips & gear showcases! 🧗 #climberspace #rockclimbing #rockclimbingaddict #climbing_worldwide #climb by @eliasisssa
