I was going through some old boxes and came upon a special book that Jeff Bridges had created while filming Tucker back in 1987. It’s an amazing collection of photographs using his Wideluxx camera. It was a magical time with a phenomenal cast. Jeff was a mere pup back then. Encouraging us all to be at our best. Such a bright light. With a heart of gold. I’d like to share one moment that comes up whenever I think of that film It lives in me to this day. I now have 40 year old memories of which I am grateful. I remember one afternoon we were filming this scene with most of the cast in and around the car the Tucker. For some reason I got under Francis‘s skin i wasn’t able to do what he wanted me to do. I was laying an egg basically. He was so upset with me that he shut down production for the day. I was mortified. Convinced my career was over. I walked to my dressing room crestfallen with my head down to my knees. Jeff put his arm around me and comforted me and talked me off the ledge. I will never forget his kind and comforting words. At a time when I wanted to hide in shame. I’m sure Jeff wouldn’t remember this but It was a profound moment for me. He has held a place in my heart ever since. Thank you @thejeffbridges for being the angel that you are. by @eliaskoteas
