Consider this my application to photograph your wedding 🥹📸

I feel so lucky that this gets to be my job. I get to spend some of the most meaningful days of people’s lives with them - chasing good light, crying behind my camera during the vows, fixing the occasional boutonnière, and somehow ending every wedding completely exhausted but already missing it.

I’ve been looking through some of my recent wedding photos and feeling very excited about all the stories I’ll get to photograph next.

Jess and Jordan's wedding reception at D/6 Lounge had such a fun dance floor! Jess and her friends surprised Jordan with a choreographed dance, which was such a great way to get the dancing started after the speeches. Here are a few favourites so far.⁠

I'm sooo happy with this double exposure I took of Sarah and Gabriel's wedding at Tuscan Farm Gardens in Abbotsford.⁠
⁠
We decided to step out for a few extra portraits at sunset, and this was the last shot I took. I had my camera set to multiple exposure mode, so after photographing them kissing with the sunset behind them, I took a second shot of one of the beautiful flowerbeds.⁠
⁠
I love how the flowers only came through in the darker areas of the first image, leaving the sky untouched. A little experiment that I'm so glad I decided to try.⁠

Jess and Jordan’s wedding reception at D/6 Lounge was such a joy to photograph. ⁠

D/6 is such a beautiful venue to photograph in. The classy, moody interiors, gorgeous natural light and all the little details made it such a dream to work with. And this crowd was SO much fun 🥂⁠

One of my favourite moments was when Jess and her friends surprised Jordan with a choreographed dance. It was incredible and such a fun moment to capture! 😂❤️⁠

Some sessions feel extra special 🥹🤍

Last year, I had the joy of photographing Chandell & Lucas’s wedding day… then earlier this year, their maternity session as they waited to meet their little girl… and now, sweet Serena is here 🥹✨

Getting to document these milestones for the same families is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do. Being invited back to capture these chapters - from the excitement of a wedding day to the quiet, love-filled moments of new parenthood - is such an honour 🤍
