“God Is My Helper” 🌄Growing up I didn’t like my name, Eliezer was different, and kids will make fun of anything or anyone different. So when people asked if Eli was short for anything, I would say it was short for Elliot, to save the explanation or embarrassment.When I started releasing music I decided to embrace my name, and when people would ask how I came up with my rap name, I’d say I didn’t, my parents did lol. I now realise that names can hold power and that having a unique name is a strength not a weakness or a flaw. My name means “God Is My Helper” - and the more I realise this to be true, the more I allow him to help me. I am so grateful to have such a beautiful, powerful name. “God Is My Helper” - my first album in over 3 years, out now on all streaming platforms 🙌 by @eliezer_111
