dear volleyball,

i can’t believe i am saying goodbye to this sport as a player. how many amazing places i have been, people i have meet, and experiences i have gotten to have because of this sport.

from making it to state as a junior with a special group of friends to getting back as a senior and finishing the job. then, taking me to wittenberg university and putting me in a class that turned out to be a historic, program-changing group of people.

the state title, conference championships, and final four appearance were all amazing, but what i will miss the most is the people i got to do it all with. there are too many people to name them all here but if you have been apart of this journey, i am extremely grateful.

volleyball taught me how to persevere, how to work hard, how to be disciplined, how to do hard things, how to lead, and so much more. this may be the end of my playing career but this is nowhere near the end of my time with this sport. next chapter coming soon🫶🏻 by @elihalverson
