Hi! 👉🏼👈🏼

I'm ABSNC (absence), aka Elijah McCallus!

I am a queer, non-binary, Producer and DJ based in Portland, Oregon. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I like making music of all kinds, but primarily bass/riddim/four to the floor.

I'm heavily inspired by Halo, Marathon, and Star Wars. 🖤

If any of that interests you, consider following along or giving my music a listen...

Okay, introduction complete, bye. xoxo by @elijah.absnc

The last of my fav shots from Colorado! 🖤

In relation to the song, oh my days I can't believe in the year 2026 we're getting new Brakence!!!

'Hypochondriac' made an immense impression on me and encouraged me to continue with art and well, living, to put it lightly. An exaggeration as that may be, I could never truly impress upon anyone how much that album helped me.

Now I'm gonna go take another edible and go 5G - xoxo by @elijah.absnc

I love doing a post where it's a photo from recently, with photos from awhile ago, catching you up.

So here's more from the early months of moving to the PNW, with the beginning of our time in Colorado. 🖤

Heyyyyy, happy new year! I have not wanted to share much on here as of lately but since the word is out and a few of you have already asked I figured I'd make an actual post about it and share what's going on. 🖤

Soooo yeah my wife and I are moving to Portland, OR!!! If you've known us some time you know this is huge for us. Although tbh with everything going on in the US and beyond it's been hard to be super hyped about it, but regardless, we are making a huge decision here and starting over in a lot of ways.

If you live in Portland or have any advice / recommendations leave a comment - I'd love to connect or check out what you love about it there.

Expect to see a lot more from me this year - I've been working on an album for some time and I'll be in a place that genuinely brings me joy and always inspires me creatively.

Anyway, thanks for reading my words, I wish you all safety and love. Stick with one another and be careful out there.
