Never lean on your own understanding. Remember who it is who has saved you, and who it is who is leading you. And place all of your faith, trust, and hope in Him.

“Everything changed… it’s getting harder to recognize… the person I was…. before I encountered Christ”

I cannot fully explain to you what has happened in my life, because I do not fully understand it. Jesus has completely made me a new person. I have real purpose. I have real passion. I have real joy. Because of Jesus. It’s so real. I pray everyone can come to know Jesus on a personal level.

For years, I thought that being a Christian meant living a boring life. I thought that it meant giving up everything “fun” to follow rules. Since giving my life to Jesus, I have found it to be the exact opposite. It’s an adventure every day. I’m about to leave everything behind to travel for 6 months. Because of Jesus. What… I could never have imagined my life being this full.

I have found meaning in every moment. I do not think heavily about the future, because God has enough for me in the present. That’s peace.

Everything you see with Solace is simply the fruit of being obedient to God. He uses me - and others - because we say yes to him. Let his will be done.

And there’s nothing in this life that is better than that.

As a follower of Christ, my life will continue to look different than what society expects. Obedience to Christ can make me look and sound crazy. But I have so much peace, I don’t care. I don’t want normal. I want to be used for his glory. I want to advance his kingdom.

Water baptism. An outward expression of an inward transformation.

Jesus Christ saved my life. One year ago, He met me right where I was and offered me freedom from my life of sin and a relationship with God through His shed blood. When I accepted this FREE gift Jesus began to radically transform my life. None of this was done on my own power. It is only through the love and the grace of God that I am able to stand here today confessing Jesus as my savior.

Since being saved, I have had the desire to be water baptized - but I was not at peace with doing so through the church I grew up in. After many conversations and prayers, God led me back to Sarasota - a place that I hold very close to my heart. This past week - in front of my family, who have shown me so much undeserving love and grace - I was physically baptized. Praise God.

I am posting this on Instagram for everyone to see. I am unashamed of the gospel. Jesus is coming back. Do you know what this means for you? If not, I encourage you to reach out.

There is peace, passion, purpose, and freedom found in Christ. The world has nothing to offer. Jesus has everything to offer.

From the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of life, Jesus Christ saved my life, and now I will live for Him.
