Peak life. Traveling to a foreign country, renting a sailboat for 2 weeks and eating fresh caught seafood. And then off to snowboard on the way home. Truly an amazing trip with even more amazing people. Little late to post due to the overwhelming amount of pics and vids but heres something with more to come soon, maybe… Next up maybe South America snow, maybe South Pacific fish, who knows by @elijahapuna

Made it to the top… Huge shoutout to Erik, probably wouldn’t have summited without his help. Day 2-7 I had food poisoning or the altitude was fucking with my stomach. Either way I had diarrhea and borderline about to shit myself at all times. Not the best when you’re hiking at high elevation. Lost all appetite and very low energy. Got to the final base camp at 2pm and went to sleep in preparation for the summit push at 10pm. Woke up at 10pm the worst I felt thus far. Dry heaving outside my tent, headache, miserable. Ate a small meal and was not looking forward to the coming 7hr uphill hike to the summit from 14k ft to 19.3k ft elevation. About 30 minutes in, Erik, one of the assistant guides noticed I was not feeling the best and offered to carry my summit pack as it is lighter than our normal daypacks. I gladly accepted this amazing offer and continued on one foot in front of the other. About 4 hours in I am so tired I feel like I’m gonna fall asleep while walking but I’m committed. Once we get to the upper ridge we’re met with some ridiculous wind 30-50kts and it’s already ~0F so at this point my eye lashes are starting to freeze together at 4:30am in the darkness and my hands have long lost feeling. Another hour later we are at the summit with the best sunrise ever. Congratulate eachother, grab some pictures and start heading back down. About halfway down I open my backpack to grab something and realize I can’t see. Took my sunglasses off thinking they were dirty and still couldn’t see. Realized my right eye was the problem and very blurred vision. Once at camp an eye wash didn’t fix the problem so I opted to go get medical help since I don’t wanna risk damage to my eye. At the doctor he sees that a few capillaries in my eye burst explaining the blurred vision and it went away shortly after. Got to go on a safari before I left Tanzania and saw zebras, giraffes, elephants, gazelle, and lions. All together got to see some awesome things just wish I felt better. Chasing sunsets, sunrises and the in-between. Lots of flights and travel to make this one happen. Another successful mission with @cjduffie22 . It was a frigid one but the new @neritic_diving 5mm wetsuit did it’s job and kept me warm. Peep those new fins too 👀 for my deepest trigger pull even in a 5mm with 8lbs of weight. Stoked to be able to share this trip with @a_pergakis and learn new techniques and grounds from @nicolas_tahimanarii

Absolutely amazing trip. I shot 1 tuna each day, all triple digits. Tommy got the hammah of them all at 185. Next year one of us will break the 200. Fishing was so good we decided “fuck it” and slept on the fishing grounds at Catalina with the clothes on our backs! Paid off since we got back out there and loaded every cooler space we had available. Including the fish bag 😉. After concluding that amazing voyage Russel and I rented a 19fter and shot it out to Coronado’s, got some sheepshead and bass which was a success. Doesn’t end there because then we went to Tijuana for the night and woke up in the morning and drove the 12 hours up to Norcal. Getting there at 2am😵‍💫😴😴😴 taken in Full Send by @elijahapuna

Hard to choose 10 photos from a whole year but here’s some of the bests.
19 is definitely gonna be a hard year to beat. Went to Bali, came home and bought a boat. Went to Costa Rica and killed fish then came home and killed even more fish. First ahi with all the boys. Personal best ono. Finally broke 20lbs uku. Even got my 100 ton captains license just in time. Now it’s time for bluefin tuna and Tahiti 🎣 thanks for all the memories so far by @elijahapuna
