Scenes from @kidcudi “A Man Named Scott” directed by @robartalexander for Amazon. My great friend @tahirybah shot by myself on medium format. Thank you to @alistkariss for styling. Thank you to @crue._ & Rob. The project is absolutely perfect. As a creator, I’m forever humbled.

In 2008, I found a song on the unsigned artists tab on MySpace. As soon as the rhythm hit I was in a trance, but most importantly were the words. Day N Nite echoed out of my dorm room as an anthem. Shortly after, everybody around me knew the words alongside me. We chanted that shit. It changed all of our lives. It inspired me to want to be a creator, more purely and truly than ever before. Anybody that knows my heart knows how much this means to me. God Bless.

A lens into the citizens of the game shaping adidas Fútbol Society—people using fútbol, culture, and community to create new ways of belonging.

For Toni, that work grew from her own journey with language and identity, inspiring her to create a welcoming space for Black kids in Los Angeles to build confidence, connect with Spanish, and feel rooted in who they are.

During the World Cup, Mexico’s run brought both sides of her story together in a proud, full-circle moment.

adidas Fútbol Society is shaped by the people finding new ways to experience the game through culture, community, and storytelling.

For Matt Marshall, football opened up a wider world. From earning a Division I scholarship at Howard University to attending his first World Cup in Brazil, the game became a way to connect with people and cultures across borders.

Now based in historic Baldwin Hills, he brings that perspective to Eat Pray Ball, telling stories about the people and places shaping football in America today.
