I haven’t been on my board in years(? *at least not regularly) but I was listening to the Rodney Mullen/Andy Anderson interview on Hawk vs Wolf yesterday and it got me itching to mess around on it again. As expected, most of my foot coordination has gone away, so it felt especially cool to get this little clip first try. 🤩☺️ by @elijahleone

I figure it is long past time for this post showcasing the long journey of my first woodworking project. I spent two years or so from design and color testing to having it in my kitchen. It was inspired by and made to match the antique china cabinet which I’ve used as a liquor cabinet for many years. It is made from a combination of solid African Mahogany and African Mahogany plywood, stained, and then finished with shellac. The drawer pull I am incredibly proud of as I was able to scour the internet and find a piece from the same foundry from the same era and in a similar shape as the pulls on the original cabinet. Happy to offer answers to any questions folks have about it or the process, as I learned a ton about what I would and wouldn’t do again. ☺️ by @elijahleone

Had a few people tell me I should share more of my woodworking progress. So here is something I’ve been spending some time on in addition to the Kitchen Island Build. ☺️ by @elijahleone

I finished my first woodworking project! (Second I guess, but first to be finished)

A friend’s beside shelves inspired the idea and some leftover wood from my first project inspired the design. 😊 really happy with how they turned out and learned a lot making them! by @elijahleone
