POSTS STORIES REELS

Hey y’all 🤍

I’ve decided to create a little space where I can creatively share content that inspires you while also sharing a little of my life lately.

If you’re new here and don’t already know me… hi, I’m Eli 👋

Thanks for being here. 🤍

I’d love to know—what would you most like to see from me?

XOXO,
Eli

Literally just a girl 🎀

And there’s SO much I didn’t even list here… including the full-contact sport that is loading everyone and everything into the car itself. 😂

All jokes aside, if I woke up tomorrow and they were grown and all of this chaos had somehow disappeared, I know I’d miss it.

I’d miss the craziness, the little voices, the constant need for me, and even the things that sometimes feel exhausting in the moment.

Because getting to care these tiny humans of mine, love them, and be their safe place is such a blessing.

We really are living in the good ol’ days, even when those days come with their fair share of challenges.

What about y’all? Are you going to miss this season? 🤍

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but I know I did with my firstborn. 🤍

I felt SO much pressure not to nurse my baby to sleep because I was told it would create a bad habit. And honestly, I never understood why.

It made getting her to sleep SO much easier. Rocking? Bouncing? A pacifier? Forget it. And “drowsy but awake”? Girl, she wasn’t getting drowsy without the boob. 😂

What I didn’t realize then was that nursing to sleep comes with a whole list of benefits for both mom and baby. Comfort, connection, emotional regulation, and the hormones that help promote relaxation and sleep so it made sense why it was working for us and has worked with my second born.

I’ve learned that nursing your baby to sleep doesn’t mean you’ve created a bad habit and it doesn’t mean they’ll never learn to fall asleep independently.

Do whatever works for you and your baby, mama. You don’t have to rush through a season that works for both of you.

Soak up all those snuggles. 🤍

Things currently filling my cup lately 🤍

✨ Being their mama
💪🏼 Getting stronger
🥑 Nourishing my body
📖 Growing in my faith
🫶🏼 Finding little pieces of myself again

Somewhere between caring for everyone else and figuring life out, I’m trying to implement caring for myself too.

One day at a time.

This isn’t the first time horses have had to take a backseat in my journey through life, but it’s certainly been the longest. And every time they haven’t been a part of my everyday life, it’s felt like a little piece of me was missing.

Getting to stay home with my little girls is one of the greatest gifts of my life, and this is my favorite season yet. 🤍 But I definitely look forward to the day I get to share that part of myself with them, too.

I’m learning that you can love the season you’re in while still missing pieces of the life you once knew. One doesn’t take away from the other.

And I know I’m not the only one in a season where life feels different, where the things that once felt so familiar have taken a backseat to the life you’re living now.

So, if that’s you, too, give yourself grace. You haven’t lost the girl you were. She’s still in there, just waiting for her next chapter.

And in God’s timing, maybe we’ll find our way back to the things that make us feel a little more like ourselves. 🤎

My strength-training routine has changed so much over the years through many different seasons of life. 🦋

But right now, I’m ready to learn more, build strength, and improve my mobility in ways I never have before. AND I’m excited to share the journey with you.

So here’s to figuring out what consistency looks like in this season of motherhood. ✨💪

Here’s my current upper-body routine if you need a little workout inspiration!

• Push-ups — 3 sets × 8–12 reps
• Dumbbell shoulder press — 3 sets × 8–12 reps
• Dumbbell lateral raises — 3 sets × 12–15 reps
• Lat pulldowns — 3 sets × 8–12 reps
• Single-arm dumbbell rows — 3 sets × 8–12 reps per arm
• Biceps curls — 2 sets × 10–15 reps
• Triceps extensions — 2 sets × 10–15 reps

Save this for your next upper-body day! 🎀

I’m working on the “it can wait” concept because when I don’t clean and come back, it is in fact quite literally waiting for me. Also why does a fresh tan feel like therapy? And I promise I’m asking the Lord to heal my nervous system y’all. 💁‍♀️✨
