My world changed forever this week. I lost my dad — and, most importantly, my best friend. For those lucky enough to know him, they would tell you he was the most caring, charismatic, and light-hearted person. He had a way of lighting up any room he stepped in to no matter the people or place. My dad understood me like no one else. He always knew how to make me laugh, and somehow, he always knew just what to say to put a smile on my face. He will always be my best friend and my favorite person to spend time with, whether it was getting fro-yo, sitting on the couch, or just talking about whatever was on my mind, he listened. I cherish every moment I had with him, and I’ll forever be jealous I don’t get more like them. I look up to my dad and aspire to be as hardworking and determined in every aspect of life as he was. His unconditional love for my mom, my sister, and me was apparent to everyone who knew and loved our family. Thank you to everyone who has kept us in their prayers🤍 by @elin.okleshen
