It’s Imposter’s Theater official grand opening in their new space!!! Also, yesterday was my debut performance as part of Imposter’s short form improv team: Improv Game Night.

Not the first book I read this year (Percy Jackson 1 & 2 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) but it’s the first one that felt natural. I don’t know if other readers know what I’m talking about. I didn’t have to re-read things or pause to process. It just was. Percy Jackson was obviously not hard to read so those things happening didn’t impede my reading of those. But I have tried to read multiple other books and it wouldn’t click.

I like this way more than her first book. Her first book felt very guided in terms of the story of her shooting rather than her as a person. This is honest and blunt. It feels like her real voice. Knocked it down to 4.5/5 because it does kind of drag at the end when she talks about her internal debates about marriage. One chapter would have been enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4.5/5 StoryGraph) by @elinor_rigby

He’s two today and I can’t even. Happy Birthday! Favorite moments this year: watching puppies, having you fetch toy cars after I push them, watching emergency vehicles, watching planes, using vegetables as a negotiation tool (thank you for not choking on the cherry tomatoes), bundling you up in so many blankets after I took you out in a down pour (see emergency vehicles), prepping your pretzels with hummus, pretending you are my guitar, flopping down on your play mat, matching our shoes (not here obviously) and most importantly sharing my strawberries with you. by @elinor_rigby
