A September wedding at the timeless Nationalmuseum. The bride wanted to draw inspiration from an old European monastery, layered with Art Nouveau and Swedish Grace. The result was a sophisticated yet warm setting, where the architecture and colours of the venue became part of the design. At the heart of the florals was the bride’s favourite flower, the sunflower. The evening ended with the couple’s favourite Swedish pastry, semlor. A few favourites from a beautiful autumn celebration at @norrviken_bastad 🍂🤎 There is something special about a wedding in autumn - the warm, muted tones, the changing leaves, the soft light, the flowers in deep seasonal shades and even the weather becoming part of the story. Because a wedding day is a story in itself. Not only the big moments, but all the little ones in between - a little girl’s foot slipping into her mother’s wedding shoe, laughter around the dinner table, a quiet moment before the celebrations begin, raindrops on the skin, a meaningful glance between two people, a fleeting smile, and so much more. This was a day that felt both relaxed and grand, with time to slow down, enjoy good food, laugh, connect and simply be together — surrounded by the beauty of Norrvikens Trädgårdar. For P&A. A love story shaped by world adventures, spontaneous escapes and a life lived far beyond Sweden - until an engagement here brought them back for a celebration of their own. With family and friends flying in from around the world, the couple envisioned a wedding weekend that felt less like a traditional wedding and more like the best kind of house party: relaxed, playful and entirely their own. A padel tournament, pool party, dips in the ocean, an intimate and informal ceremony, a custom-designed Martini Bar, Swedish traditions with a nod to the bride’s Maine heritage - all woven into a weekend made for gathering, celebrating and, above all, having fun. L&T’s hidden garden wedding in June — an open-air reception and a seriously unforgettable party. Inspired by the bride’s timeless lily of the valley bouquet, this wedding became a subtle homage to one of Dior’s most iconic flowers. We carried the delicate flower throughout the celebration, pairing it with soft white, green and mauve florals, wild garden textures, linen, ceramics and candlelight. To add a touch of Swedish flavour, we served classic Princess cakes - loved by both our Swedish and American guests. Followed, of course, by McDonald’s for a late-night bite, a small detail with a personal connection to the family. This weekend was designed for an intimate autumn dinner space amongst 90 guests. Deep hues of burgundy, red, peach and cream bringing it all together with that golden light on the tables. It’s the first time that we’ve worked with this colour combination and I love to design it all to feel delicate, but using deeper colour tones is challenging to create that vibe. It was a really fun challenge and I’m so grateful for the trust from our couple. Most importantly, it reflected their personality and what a party it was. Let me know what you think!
