In Genesis 1 God “created” man in His image.
In Psalm 139, the same Hebrew word for “created” is used to by the Psalmist in reference to being conceived in his mother’s womb.

At the creation of every human life, God gives worth.
This is biblical theology that shows us who we are. by @eliottreyna

He was the best dog we could’ve asked for. 🕊️
And he went out a hero, protecting our home and family. We loved him and our babies loved him. So grateful for the 5 years we had with Tozer, even if he was taken too soon. ❤️‍🩹

Be selective and intentional with what you are watching and listening to.
Our minds are being affected by too much social media.

Don’t be so prideful to think it doesn’t affect you.
Set limits.
Your time is holy.

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬ ‭
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” by @eliottreyna

Prayer is not wishful thinking.
It’s communion with the almighty King of the universe.

Take your worries to Him.

_ ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭_
“Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” by @eliottreyna

I need this reminder sometimes so I thought I’d share it.

It’s do easy to get caught up in the “optimization culture” and run so fast we don’t slow down to look up at God and around at others.

The kingdom of God prioritizes these things. Don’t forgot them. Set aside time to pray, sabbath, and invest in people.

Those are holy and eternal things.
The temporary things will get sorted.

_ ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭33‬ _
“But seek first the kingdom of God , and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.” by @eliottreyna
