A true colourful invitation it was to visit this creative planet, for a moment.
We were honoured and then so very moved.

I think of David Bowie and his family today, and every year.

Sympathie pour le Diable parle de la relation complexe de Paul Marchand avec son métier de correspondant de guerre et son expérience du siège de Sarajevo pendant la guerre de Bosnie.
Jouer de vraies personnes impliquées dans des événements récents et présentes sur le tournage, ’reconstituer’ la guerre avec ceux qui l’ont vécue, c’est chargé d’émotions, intense.
et Guillaume vient du Théâtre , il voulait que nous fassions ce travail ensemble, comme une troupe: nous avons tous passé la durée du tournage en Bosnie.
Très marquée par les personnes que nous avons rencontrées lors de recherches sur ce projet et depuis, merci Boba Lizdek @spectrakatz , Tom Benzon @benzoncat , #LidijaZelovic, David Raftis @dave_raftis , Edim @edimje , Nihad @nihad_lion , mon esprit s’est ouvert et j’ai été changée par tout ce que vous avez partagé de vos vies.
Les journalistes sont essentiels au bon fonctionnement de nos démocraties.

Paul marchand a été grièvement blessé. ✨Derniers jours dans quelques salles✨

Sympathy for the devil speaks of the complex relationship Paul Marchand had to his profession as war correspondent & his experience of the siege in Sarajevo during the Bosnian war.
Playing real people who were involved in recent events and were with us when we filmed, and ‘re-enacting’ war with those that lived it was emotionally loaded, intense.
Guillaume comes from theatre , he approached this as an ensemble piece : however big the parts, we all spent the duration of the entire shoot in Bosnia.
Thank you to the people we met through researching this project and since, Boba Lizdek @spectrakatz , Tom Benzon @benzoncat , #LidijaZelovic, David Raftis, @dave_raftis, Edim @edimje , Nihad @nihad_lion , my mind has grown and I’ve been changed by what you shared of your lives.

To Christiane Amanpour, Boba Lizdek, Philippe Lobjois, Laurent Van der Stockt, the late Kurt Schork and of course the late Paul Marchand.
We learnt so much from researching your lives & the invaluable work you did in casting light on the Bosnian war.
Thank you to all the journalists who continue to report and risk their lives in the name of justice. ———-This is our interpretation of you———- Congrats to the team and love to the friends we made in Sarajevo.
