This is one of my first UGC videos and I cringe watching it back.

Not because I did something wrong, but because I followed the brief exactly. Hook formula, product close-up, CTA at the end and shoving the product in your face “naturally”.

And it shows.

UGC only works when it doesn’t feel like UGC. That’s the whole point. But most brands are still briefing creators like it’s a TV commercial.
