I can’t believe the final night of Miss Universe Thailand has already passed. ❤️👑

What a journey it has been. I had no pageant experience, little time to prepare, and not speaking Thai made things harder. There were moments when I doubted myself and almost gave up. But I reminded myself why I started and kept fighting until the end. I’m so proud of myself.

Did I join because I wanted the crown? Yes. Do I believe I have the potential to one day? Absolutely. I also have so much respect for the women who have fought for this dream for years. They once had a Day 1 too, and they inspire me to keep fighting for my dreams.

The outcome does not discourage me — it encourages me to keep going. Most of all, I discovered my passion for pageantry. Despite the blood, sweat and tears, I truly enjoyed this journey. It made me stronger, more confident and more connected to Thailand. I speak more Thai now, and through my friends and our time in Udon Thani, I learned about Thai culture. 🇹🇭❤️

Although I didn’t make the Top 20, I am proud of my performance. In my first pageant, I placed 22nd based on the judges’ score. I have so much respect for the women who made the initial Top 20.

The 30% paid public vote could change the final rankings, and I was told I received more than 200,000 baht in votes. This genuine and organic support means so much to me. ❤️ I was confused that this did not seem to be reflected on the voting scoreboard, and I still don’t fully understand how everything was calculated. But I don’t know what happened behind the scenes, and I don’t want to make assumptions.

To everyone who voted, shared my posts, watched my livestreams, cheered me on and believed in me — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support carried me through hard moments.

I may not have a placement, but I am walking away stronger, more confident, more connected to Thailand, and with a passion I didn’t know I had. Now I want to practice, learn, improve my Thai and come back stronger and more prepared.

This was my first pageant, and still, I came this far. I am proud of myself. This journey may have ended, but my passion for pageantry has only just begun.

Until next time. ✨ by @elise_hilverda
