One year of us. 🤍

Tomorrow marks one year since you became my person, but I wanted to say this today because tomorrow I want to put my phone down and be completely present with you. Just us, celebrating our first year.

Finding a boyfriend is one thing. Finding someone who is willing to grow with you, change with you, step outside of their comfort zone, and do things differently simply because it makes you feel safe and loved is something so much more rare. And that is what makes you so special to me, Nick.

I swear, every single person who is lucky enough to truly know you knows how impossible it is not to like you. In fact, you can’t help but fall for every little part of you. Your kindness, your drive, your heart, your personality—and all of your weird little intricacies that somehow make me love you even more the longer I get to uncover them.

You became my best friend, my safe place, my fiancé, and the person I want beside me for every version of life.

And when I chose you as my partner and my forever, I hope our future kids know that they were already in my heart, too. I thought about the kind of man I wanted them to call Dad. The kind of person I wanted them to learn from, laugh with, feel safe with, and look up to. They are so incredibly lucky, and I hope one day they understand just how intentionally I chose you for all of us.

I can’t wait for the life we’re building—the wedding, the home, the kids, the ordinary days, the adventures, and every little moment in between.

I’d choose you over and over again.

still feeling so incredibly loved after celebrating this next chapter with the people who mean the absolute most to us. thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our engagement and surround us with so much love.

when i moved to Avon, i never could have imagined how much love, friendship, and family i would gain here. some of the people who started as strangers became some of the most important people in my life, and getting to celebrate this moment surrounded by so many of them means more than i could ever put into words.

To my fiancé-
Thank you for being the safest place I’ve ever known. Thank you for choosing me on the ordinary days just as much as the extraordinary ones. Every version of my future has you in it, and somehow that’s my favorite part.

Here’s to every sunrise, every late-night drive, every kitchen dance, every dream we’ll chase, every challenge we’ll face hand in hand, and every “I love you” that still won’t be enough.
