While restoring our cottage, we wanted every detail to feel true to the age and character of the home.

I recently collaborated with @tradco_architectural_hardware to install their heritage switches, along with new door and cabinetry hardware throughout the space. These small details play such an important role in shaping the feeling of a home, especially in a place with so much history.

Having photographed many beautiful homes featuring TradCo pieces over the years, I’ve long admired the craftsmanship and quality of their designs. It’s been incredibly special to now use them in our own home! 🤍 taken in Tasmania by @eliskasharp

The most beautiful day! I’m very emotional and still taking it all in! I got to marry my best friend, my blessing @ethan.d.sharp, witnessed by the most amazing friends and families at the dreamiest location in the Snowy Mountains. It couldn’t be more perfect! Thank you all who came, helped, supported us in any way. We lived a fairy tale and now the big adventure is starting! I love you so much @ethan.d.sharp!

I’m particularly excited to share some of my recent work from Beulah House. This was my second visit, and every time I’m here, I’m amazed by the grand spaces, stunning décor, and romantic atmosphere 🤍

As an enthusiast of old British period dramas and novels, I like to imagine myself as a character from one of those books. Dressing-up, having long candlelit dinners, waking up for sunrise, and taking a leisurely stroll through the garden, pondering about life, while the birds offer their morning greetings. Dressed in ten layers of fabric, of course. (The reality was somewhat less poetic. At six in the morning, I was, in fact, wearing pyjamas.)

Still, Beulah House has a remarkable way of transporting you to another era. It leaves you wandering through its rooms imagining the lives once lived there, with a desire to know more about the history, the people who lived before us, and the stories these beautiful spaces hold ✨ taken in Launceston, Tasmania by @eliskasharp

A quiet little room, dressed in green 🌿

I’ve always found green so calming, and this beautiful stripe wallpaper from @sandbergwallpaper feels right at home amongst the old timber, warm wood and collected treasures.

For our guest bedroom, I wanted to choose something a little bold, but still keep that cosy, old-fashioned cottage feeling I love so much. Choosing a wallpaper from @sandbergwallpaper wasn’t an easy task, there are simply too many beautiful ones! After some thinking and, of course, far too much overthinking (as usual haha), we finally settled on this beautiful stripe called Estelle in Mustard.

I loved the idea of bringing in some soft blue tones and mixing it with gingham, little patterns and plenty of texture, very much inspired by the sort of cosy little country rooms you might find in an old storybook.

And voilà, a cheerful room for our lovely guests to curl up in… although I suspect it may be the cats who make themselves most at home here 💛

I gave myself a little break last weekend after a busy winter and took myself on a solo trip to Bruny Island.

Phone away, a good book, long walks, no rush… just some time away from the noise of everyday life.

Of course, it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t take a single photo, despite promising myself I wouldn’t… 😂

Ever since arriving back home I’ve been dreaming about this view!

The @piermont always reminds me of one of my favourite places in the world, Cornwall.

The dramatic coastline, the stone cottages, and that feeling of being right on the edge of the sea. There’s even a touch of the Scottish Highlands, which makes it feel even more special.

That’s probably why Tasmania’s east coast in winter keeps pulling me back (though it’s beautiful in every season 🤍)

I recently had the pleasure of photographing @seaviewspa_piermont at @piermont before it opens on 1 August. Ocean views, the sound of the waves, and one of the most beautiful locations on Tasmania’s east coast… it doesn’t get much better than this 🤍✨
