Just back from a late night grout party. No lighting in yet so was a bit dismal for final video. Will get some epic footage after it’s all second fixed and siliconed up over the next day or two. Hope you guys are having a great weekend! Thanks for watching.

That’s how we do every time.
Burn into substrate. Directional notching. Back buttered. Totally lip free and built to withstand at least 6.4 on the Richter scale. 😂
Happy weekend guys!

Go and have a read about this young lad Josh @josh_solihulltilingspecialist over on @solihull_tiling_specialists main page and I’m sure you’ll agree he deserves some love. If you’ve got time go and drop him a follow and keep up with his tile journey. Need more young men like this coming into the tile trade.
Big up Josh!!!👏👊

Four measurements can give you every cut for your herring bone reveals.
Struggled to record this in real time so I hope this gives the jist of it.
Feel free to ask any questions.

Everyone loves a boner tip!
That's what she said.
I've made the mistake in the past of putting the tip of my boner dead centre which never works out properly. But anyway back to the tiling 😂.
Here's an easy way of working out where to stick it! Watch the clip, and when you've got your 0.25 measurement like I mentioned,it can be distanced from either end of the tile. This adjustment will change your edge cuts in the same way it would by putting a subway half on or half off the centre line
If that makes sense.

Didn't get the tiling finished until late Friday and the boiler packed up during the night on Thursday meaning nothing ready for grouting so I left it all Saturday to cure properly. There today bright and early to grout up and it turns out the water board had the whole estates water off since 3am. So I had to grab a six pack of 2ltr bottles of water to mix grout and clean up after. Told you I have the worst luck🤦‍♂️. So with no heating or hot water I left the final polish and shiny footage until I'm back to do the utility end of this week. Herring bone again. Theres a nice long run on this without wall cabinets though so expect to see a proper full wall template post coming soon. Got a few tips ready saved too and will post later and next couple of days.
.
Enjoy the last bit of your weekend guys!
