this post is beyond late but its because of dread & laziness.

Making this post is creating a pit in my stomach knowing ill never share a stage with some of my best friends ever again. I’ve learned so much about myself and my abilities but also i’ve met so many amazing people and my most best friends and its all thanks to seeing a bunch of middle schoolers sing and dance about the muppets in the highschool cafeteria during arts fair. Ive had some of my most amazing memories made at competitions, ive met people and connected with people from all over america. This program and these people pushed me beyond what i believed i could do and i grew to know my worth, confidence and my ability to lead and help when needed.

I’ve been through so much while in the program and even when i was losing myself and felt no control over my life and felt like the ground was crumbling under me, this family was still there. Group hugs, meals, love, and support through the hard days is what kept me here and taught me to become someone who would make the meals, send the texts and show up if others were struggling like i was.

Performing is one of the most successful and rewarding feelings i could describe and being in such a tight knit community of people that all share that one passion of singing and dancing. These moments will forever live on in my bedroom, in my conversations, and in my mind.

fairfield showchoir will always be a place to go to if you feel you have no where else, i hope that stays and i hope it forever lives on so others just like me can feel and live through the one thing you can’t experience unless you join and experience it yourself.

Brandon you all are truly the most amazing people i’ve ever met and had the honor to host at crystal. Your love and kindness made my last crystal truly the best and the most memorable. Im so grateful for these opportunities to meet people from all across america and see the insides of their groups.
