"Kip, act normal."

Life. What a gift. What an adventure. It's the wildest rollercoaster that we all have to ride on. Some days your tears are from laughter, some days they are tears of pain; silent tears that only the past can hear. Friendships grow and produce little friends; giving you an excuse to bore them with tales of what adventures you had with their mum (or dad) as singleton's in the big city, or in zones of conflict somewhere across the globe. "....that time I refused to go any further 'til I shaved my legs beside the jeep in Lebanon...". Three pairs of eyes staring up at their mum in shock and awe. I miss those days. I miss many days tbh. Wishes change. Some wishes don't. I still wish to write books in my amazing white painted cottage overlooking the sea.....drinking gin.

This image was taken from an assignment a few years ago. I borrowed my best mate and her kids for it. I'll probably post a few more from this three day shoot.....if I can figure out how to post on this platform. It's nearly been a year and I'm completely lost trying to upload!

I dusted off the X-T3 and took it for a walk to meet up with one of my fave people while she was on holiday from Australia. Hours chatting on my favourite bench by the lake, munching on crisps and guzzling cider, I'd forgotten why the lake was my healing place. I'd also forgotten how stunningly beautiful #GoldenHour is!

Nigel looked up at the coastguard helicopter hovering above and regretted letting his gym membership gather dust. He had no ambition for tv fame, but he knew that in a few hours he’d be on the local news being rescued and made an example of. Was it his fault that the coastguard had mistaken him for a beached seal when he was just laying on a rock getting a tan? Hey ho, time to renew his gym membership and burn the blubber off.

I'm trying to remember the last time I felt cold. I think it was sitting on this bench at Lizard Point freezing my baps off while being the most southern human in the UK. I'm now slouched in front of a fan and it's not doing a thing. Hey ho.
