Still dotting i’s and crossing t’s in my new old kitchen but couldn’t resist a snap of this *almost* there corner glowing in the snowlight. So beyond proud of Andrew for bringing my vision to life. He has done all of the construction himself around work and fatherhood. taken in Loudoun County by @elizabethdyer_

Autumn in the garden has been so joyful! As always, lots of weeding, cleaning up, and tucking in, but seeing the borders fill in and the framework shrubbery mature in just two years is pretty incredible. I love the kids’ toys beyond the formal borders too - just a lovely juxtaposition that I enjoy tremendously. I can’t wait to see everything sleepy & frosty then explode again in the spring. 🤎 taken in Loudoun County by @elizabethdyer_

Thank you, @lauren.schoeb , for challenging me on a random weekday morning to create lovely things, spend time in motherhood together, and revel in the answered prayer of our friendship amidst busy schedules. I love our wreaths but you are a balm to my heart, sweet friend!! 🤎 by @elizabethdyer_

Late Spring in our garden 🪏 It’s hard to believe that this was all weedy “lawn” with ivy infestation and invasive plantings two years ago. I have spent as many nap times as possible digging and planting since Morgan was born. We have pea gravel and finishing our fence to go until we have the structure set! taken in Loudoun County by @elizabethdyer_

Such a fun family field trip with 2 rabbits and a goose (the future band name for our 3 kids 🐇🐇🪿) to Historic Colonial Williamsburg. We all had our fill of things that make us happy - historic houses, gardens, & trades, war history, friendly sheep, and multiple visits a day to Chowning’s Tavern for cider! “Give me liberty or give me death!” 🦅 taken in Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area by @elizabethdyer_

Spring & early Summer glimmers ✨ We celebrated our newly 1, 3, & 5 year olds and 7 years since we’ve eloped. I was inducted into my high school’s HOF. Growing in Christ. Doing life with family friends that “get” us. Finding contentment and beauty in everyday happenings - cooking, gardening, home renovations. Practicing gratitude and perspective in motherhood. 💛 taken in Loudoun County by @elizabethdyer_

Finally!!! Our son, Morgan Joseph, was born at home (23 in, 10 lbs 12 oz!) after spending a cozy 42 weeks in his Momma’s tummy. After Lily’s shockingly quick, precipitous birth, we started becoming on edge waiting for him to arrive but everything unfolded beautifully for another fast, uncomplicated birth. Delivering a child is the absolute wildest, most empowering experience. I am truly blessed to create this little family with Andrew. 💛 by @elizabethdyer_

It’s been a couple of weeks without my sweet, snuggly angel kitty and I still can’t quite believe what a void there is in our home. Luna was the best little girl. I’m so glad she got to love on my family as it grew and know their love back. *Striped pajama pictures were from the first few hours after Lily was born. Luna curled right up next to her for an introductory snug. 🥹🥰💔 by @elizabethdyer_

Happy to announce that a batch of my pressed florals are now available to purchase online! Eek! Starting small and experimenting with delivery options based on size & location and hoping to add a local pickup option soon. My work is meant to fill a design void with very understated, traditional tones. Perfect for groupings or a simple vignette. The first batch is quite demure but I have many pieces that have been waiting for their debut for years (like 2018 if you can believe it..) that are more avant-garde. I hope you enjoy! xo taken in Loudoun County by @elizabethdyer_
