Career Highlight / Bucket List ☑️💥

Last week was a pinched me I’m dreaming moment, a check off my career bucket list. I had the honor and privilege to create a meaningful and energetic custom commission that captured the essence of the epic and iconic Itzler/Blakely family. @jesseitzler and @sarablakely have been my entrepreneurial and life role models for years. I wake up each day looking forward to seeing the life lessons they post on their Instagram feeds.
When I tenaciously followed up with Jesse to make this happen I knew in my gut I was going to going to create something spectacular. This piece was created with love, respect, and admiration.
l was absolutely not expecting Sara to be home when I delivered the artwork, and I didn’t even know it was a surprise for her.
Watching her initial reaction to the painting was priceless.
Not only are Sara and Jesse, extremely wise, successful brilliant and positive energy, they’re also so humble and kind. To top the evening off by sharing dinner with them, their family and friends is an experience I will never ever forget and one I truly manifested into the universe. More manifestations happening. #🦋🦋🦋🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷

Full circle moment! I met @naominachman at the very beginning of my art career, back when launching my own dinnerware line was still a dream. That must have been 7 years ago now, and since then, Naomi has been nothing short of inspiring: a powerhouse Orthodox woman building a career around her creativity and passions. She’s always aligned with my vision in the most beautiful ways, from her love for cooking to her kind values and her ambition. Fast forward to today—God’s timing is everything. Not only has Naomi inspired how I cook, but she’s also been a huge influence on me as a businesswoman. We’ve got some exciting ideas brewing that we cannot wait to share with you all in time. It was a huge bonus to see my dinnerware featured in the @fleishigsmag Pesach edition alongside Naomi’s amazing recipes. Feeling beyond grateful.

Character - it’s not who you are or what you wear, it’s what you do.

Light - some people are just born with it.

A moment - in time, and one I will never forget.

History - in the making.

God - exists, and has His hand in everything.

Yesterday will forever be etched in my mind. Thank you Hashem for giving me the opportunity to reunite two of our rescued hostages. Thank you Hashem for teaching me the healing power of art, and for allowing me to share that gift with others.
Thank you Hashem for surrounding me with INCREDIBLE people - people who have the LIGHT. Andrei and Luis - you are LIGHT. Thank you Hashem for blessing this earth with two heroes, Luis Har and Andrei Kozlov, heroes who are doing God’s work in sharing their experiences with the world.

And thank you Hashem for showing me your power. When my dear friend Anton (another light on this planet) needed my friendship to bring some energy back to his soul after his brother, Alex Lubanov, was murdered at the hands of H@mas, you guys helped me raise funds to send him on a healing trip to the Canary Islands (thank you guys.) I tried to be the best friend possible for Anton during trying times, and our friendship grew strong. Back in November, I was introduced to Andrei who was looking for a place to paint while in NY, something I consider it a real זכות to be able to provide. As we spent time together, he shared with me that he was held in captivity with Alex. In that moment, I knew he was sent to me from above by Alex, to say thank you for helping his family. Fast forward a few months and here we are. New friendships. Art. Healing. Thank you Hashem for allowing me to witness the creation of his incredible art.

AM YISRAEL CHAI. This is a dedication to the strength, unity, and resilience of the Jewish people. On the day the Bibas family was paraded around a stage in Gaza in the most deranged manner, on a day where the entire Jewish nation around the world was grieving, 1,200 Jews gathered @1000strongnyc to celebrate our Jewish joy and to honor and memorialize the Bibas family and the heroes of Israel. Now it might sound weird to say ‘celebrate’ on such a sad day (of course this date was chosen many months ago) - but the fact that we, as a people, were able to be so proud of our heritage on a day where so many in this twisted world stayed silent in our grief - that is a sign of strength, love, unity, and pride.

I need to give particular honor to two incredibly inspiring stars of the night. @mordechaiweiss, my friend, who started this organization and has dedicated the last 1.5 years of his life to truly doing good, helping Israel since 10/7, and gathering Jews to socialize and Gd willing create Jewish Zionist babies. Mordy is an extremely impressive individual with an exceptional value system. And then, there is @iamandreikozlov, one of Israel’s rescued hostages, and a symbol of heroism to an entire nation. Through the grace of God, a friend introduced me to Andrey, as he was looking for a place in NYC to paint and heal his trauma through art. After all the volunteering I did trying to help traumatized individuals in Israel through art, having a rescued hostage paint in my gallery felt like a real zechut. And when we revealed that he was held in captivity with my friend @a.l.ashk brother Alex Lubanov, who was murdered with Sinwar, I knew it was a sign from shamayim. As I got to learn more about Andrei and his desire to create an art career in NYC, I also had a feeling in my gut he would love my friend (the one I always joke is my work boyfriend) @emanuelfriedman, the owner of @lux.contemporary gallery. They’re both Russian, spunky, positive energy individuals of the same age, and I knew Emanuel would be the perfect person to help him build his career. The rest is history. Grateful to be spending the holiday season with people that I love. last week I celebrated at my dear friend Irina’s holiday party at her gorgeous jewelry store in Brooklyn at Fassett Jewelry.
I customized a very sentimental pinky ring for myself, a Jewish a diamond Jewish star with a teardrop in the center, engraved with my children’s birthdays and one of my mottos, “God, love, money” to keep me inspired and motivated. It’s always such a gift when I find hardworking women that support one another. Go check out her shop if you’re in the neighborhood. It is absolutely stunning and she has the best energy. Such a gift to see my dishes in use at their first holiday party. My favorite biproduct of the fact that I’m launching a dinnerware collection is that I now get to have another one of my creative passions (in addition to painting) as part of my business model. Hence why I wanted to enter this product category. I used to cook all the time - something I truly love doing - but didn’t get to do it so often because I’m always working. Well now, cooking is work for me, and I get to serve delicious food to people I love ❤️ on my own dishes. Literally, a dream. When I relaunch my recipes you won’t want to miss out. My heart feels so full. I am finally home after 4 years of not visiting the Kotel. I'm not sure if you know this about me, but I spent almost every Friday night of every summer since I'm 6 years old at the Kotel. My family and I would taxi from the Inbal to the Kotel, daven, and walk back to the hotel through old Jerusalem as a family. My brothers and I would race and I would pray that I didn't slip on the slippery stone while running. Then we would do Shabbat dinner in the hotel until we were so full we couldn't breathe and move to the lobby after dinner to play Rummikub. These are some of the best memories I have of my life. Growing up with that Yahadut, that spiritually, is something so deeply engrained in me. It is a huge part of who I am. So grateful I got to go today with my mom. Said a deep and meaningful prayer for all those I love.

Monday life lessons-
Throughout this move back to New York, and throughout my entire career really, I have learnt that it’s all about the process. Change and results don’t happen over night- all good things take time. A painting isn’t completed overnight, a house is not packed up within a few hours, a product launch involves more than just a few days of planning… I can go on. As I’m sitting here surrounded by boxes and chaos I’m taking a step back to remind myself that this is just the process. The process to moving into a beautiful new home, in the city that I’ve missed so much. This absolute madness is just temporary and just like my artwork, will soon be a completed masterpiece.
