a bountiful spring and summer of private cheffing on the beach ✨

for my client this season, each meal was built around an athletic performance diet with specific macronutrient targets, balancing protein, carbohydrates, and fats without a feeling of sacrifice.

la’s overflowing farmers markets give me access to incredible hyper seasonal produce year round, but it was especially joyous to cook through the explosion of spring and summer produce from april through august.

this client shared my love of color and flavor and gave me the freedom to freestyle within my guiding ethos: maximal plant diversity on every plate.

i’ve been specializing in complex diets for a handful of years now, from athletic performance to medically necessary nutrition. it’s an honor to be trusted with my clients’ health, and i find the challenge of working within these complex dietary paramaters endlessly inspiring 💞 by @elizamozer

people often ask us if our parents are chefs, if that’s how we both ended up in the industry. while our mom is an amazing home-cook, and our dad an enthusiastic-taster, they are both artists and designers by trade. growing up with their studio as our playground sculpted how we approach our creative food practice today. we love cooking in all spaces, for all types of people, but it is in settings dedicated to art and design that we truly feel at home. as such, it was an extra special honor to return to @feministcenterforcreativework this year to lead the food programming for their annual fundraising benefit (200+ attendees!)
