Hey pals! If anyone is still looking for a summer job or internship, might I suggest coming to work with me at Camp Wicosuta!! 👀 We are looking to hire one more person for our Media Team this summer! If you have any interest or experience in photography, social media content, video, or graphic design & want to experience one of the most magical creative summers of your life, please reach out to me or carla@campwicosuta.com for more info.

Pros:
🌟 you get to become an expert with a camera!! whether you have used a camera all your life or just are getting into it, you’ll spend time every single day honing this craft - learning what composition you like, practicing manual settings, & perfecting your editing techniques. Truly some of the most rapid growth I’ve seen people have in photography skill is from working as camp photographers.

🌟 you get to be outside in the BEAUTIFUL New Hampshire scenery all summer (& travel to Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island & the like on days off!)

🌟 you get to try so many things! in the span of a single day you might find yourself riding the zipline, taking photos from a boat out on the lake, sampling the chocolate zucchini bread made in cooking, organizing people to make a silly instagram reel, & dressing up in a pickle costume to sing a song for the masked singer! every day brings a new surprise & truly no two days are the same.

🌟 you’ll not only meet some of the most incredible friends & coolest people, but you’ll live in a community where you feel supported, valued, & seen.

🌟 you get to work on a super fun team with ME!!! & 2 other baddies that you will LOVE!

Cons:
🌟 literally none, it is the most fun job ever & will be one of the best summers of your life guaranteed or your money back (i am biased obviously but all of the above is true)

If you’ve been looking for a side quest, take this as your sign & reach out!! Not interested yourself but know someone who might be? Send this to them & have them shoot me a DM! And if you’re interested in working at camp but maybe the media team isn’t for you, we still are hiring for a few other positions, so give me a shout & I’ll connect you with the right people. taken in Camp Wicosuta by @elizscamera

Some snippets & clips from my first legit video work post-grad! 🌟🎥

When @priscillasabmusic & I talked last fall, we both agreed it just seemed right that I did the music video for her song "Ramona." It was one of my favorite book series growing up & was definitely a character little Eliz related to in some ways, so I was beyond thrilled when we decided I'd create a music video for this song.

Working on this project was one of the biggest creative joys I've had in recent years - I'd been chasing a sense of childlike playful creativity for a while now & this was the first time I actually found it.

When I found myself stressing over details the night before the shoot, I tried to harness my inner child & remember what it felt like to be 9 & making videos with my friends for fun. No pressure, no strict guidelines - just being in it for the love of the game. & that's what I found in creating "Ramona." I was doing it because I was enjoying the process, I was enjoying the doing.

I can't thank Priscilla enough for this opportunity & for continuing to trust me with her creative visions. Truly what a gift it is to get to create things you love with your friends <33

Check out the link in my bio to watch the full video & stay tuned to @priscillasabmusic for more as her album is releasing so very soon!! by @elizscamera
