I’m beyond grateful to announce my verbal commitment to Blackburn College Volleyball! @blackburn_vb

I want to thank my family, without any of you this opportunity wouldn’t be possible. Thank you for the countless hours you took out of your day to take me to practice, games, or tournaments. Thank you for being my motivation and for telling me to never give up this dream. Thank you for the cheering, the motivational speeches, and for just being there always.

I also want to thank my coaches. Thank you to my high school coaches and my club coaches. Thank you Rapid Fire for taking me in at such short notice. I want to say a HUGE thank you to DeWerff. Thank you for always believing me and for every single pep talk you have given to me. You will forever be the person I look up to!

Thank you Carl Niemann and Jack Hart for the countless hours of game film and photography. You guys certainly do not go unnoticed! Thank you for creating memories that will last a lifetime!

I personally want to thank Tara Williamson, who has been my biggest cheerleader. Thank you for never giving up on me and for telling me to keep going. You will forever be family.

Of course, thank you to Coach Bishop and Coach Heater for finding me my next home! I am so grateful for this offer and the atmosphere you showed me! Thank you for showing me the exact college experience I envisioned!

i wanted to do one more post for my favorite person. without robyn, i probably would not be playing volleyball currently. thank you for always believing in me, and pushing me to be better not just for the team but for myself. thank you for understanding me. thank you for pushing me. and thank you for always always supporting me no matter what (unless i’m being stupid). thank you for being my person and lit my inspiration. thank you for never ever giving up on me robyn, when i gave up on myself. thank you for getting me out of my head and out of my mental challenges. i’m sure going to miss not having you next to me while playing, but so grateful for the time we go together. i can’t believe you’re going to the D1 level, i remember this shy little girl, and now you’ve prospered, and not only became a GREAT volleyball player, but a GREAT person and teammate. you never give up and you always have faith. thank you for being one of the sweetest souls i have ever met, and thank you for challenging me. thank you. i appreciate you more than words can tell. love u forever buddy, ty for putting up with me all these years, now go do BIG BATMAN things!! ❤️☹️ @robynwaard by @ella.apple12

to say playing taylorville volleyball was a privilege is an understatement. these girls, this team, they will forever hold a special place in my heart. freshman year, tearing my acl, they were right alongside me. sophomore year, getting cleared to finally play the sport i love. junior year, my personal favorite year, finally breaking out of my shell. senior year, one of the toughest yet thrilling years, finally playing with my girls one last time. thank you for the years taylorville volleyball and i am so excited to see the potential we have moving forward. thank you for always supporting me and always wanting me to achieve the things i thought were out of reach. forever grateful for a team that makes goodbyes feel so hard. #17 signing out. 💜🏐💛🍎 by @ella.apple12
