my sweet sweet angel raisin,

oh my angel i cannot begin to explain the blessing it has been to love a soul as beautiful as yours. you are truly the sweetest cat i’ve ever had, loving everybody you met, humans, dogs, cats, anything. you and me watched each other grow up. you were my whole childhood, giving me so so many laughs and so so much happiness that i wont be able to find in any other cat to come after. i always remember when you would cheer me up when i was upset, getting on my lap, cuddling with me, anything. as you grew older the roles would switch and i would cuddle you and comfort you after your surgeries. you have taught me so much, like continuing to shine brightly through sickness and pain, loving everyone around me, and so much more. you have given me so much light in my life, everybody who is friends with me knew raisin. my little hairless cat that i couldn’t live without. i wasn’t ella without her. you shared a bond with me that is irreplaceable.

i can only hope that with your new wings you find a place where you aren’t sick anymore and don’t feel any pain, where you can lay in the sun with no consequences and eat to your hearts desire. it’s what you always have deserved your whole life after being nothing but the sweetest. i don’t know if i’ll ever be able to get another cat after you, due to how big of impact you’ve had on me despite only being a silly cat. wherever you are, i know you are there waiting for me and i know we’ll meet again. i can only carry on your legacy you made and have you live on through me, until the day i get to see you again.

i truly could never imagine a life without you and grief has hit me like a train wreck now that you are gone and my denial has been stripped away. i see you in the spots you used to lay in on the patio, in lizards, in your heating pads, your little sweaters, whenever i run a bath, and so much more. you are one of the best things to have happened to me, i am so glad i got to spend 11 years loving you unconditionally.

i love you always raisin, and will continue to see you in all the little things until the day we meet again, wait up for me my angel by @ella.blakeee
