This past year broke me in ways I never expected. I’ve walked through deep grief, confusion, and moments where I felt completely lost—I didn’t recognize myself or my life anymore. Many days I still don’t. But somehow, in all of this pain, hurt, and moments I wanted to give up—Jesus met me.Getting baptized wasn’t just a “tradition” today. It was me handing over the pain, the hurt, and all the pieces I’ve tried to hold together on my own, and finally saying, “Jesus, I can’t do this without You.” And to Anchor Church—thank you for being a soft place to land when everything felt heavy. For creating space where I didn’t have to pretend I was okay. You helped me hear God’s voice again when mine was too shaky to speak. by @ella.goeltz
