2024, you have been the best year of my life✨In December 2023 I quit my 9-5 to spend a month in australia, little did i know it would be a year later and i’m still #unemployed.January started with a trip to Berlin, Iceland, then Switzerland and Chamonix France. 3 countries in 1 month was a pretty good start✈️February 14th I boarded my 32 hour journey to WA🦘🇦🇺, where I spent the next 5 weeks solo travelling, backpacking through the outback and meeting so many new friends.March was spent settling in back home, seeing friends and family + preparing for my next trip ofc🫶🏽April I packed my backpacks again and went solo island hopping through the Cyclades in Greece for a month🇬🇷. Solo travelling a country where you can speak the language is one thing, but this felt even further from home than I did in Australia.May was my 20th birthday and i was spoilt with a trip to Amsterdam🇳🇱. Having the luxury of my boyfriend doing the planning so my brain could have a rest.For my own birthday treat I booked a flight to the Philippines!🇵🇭I zip-lined between islands, swam with whale sharks and over all completely removed myself from the comfort zone. While also being mauled by sand flies, burning my leg on a motorbike exhaust and getting extremely unwell🤣🤣.In June, after being home for only 2 days, I placed 3 times in my cheer comp🥹! Then heading off the week later to celebrate in Halkidiki Greece, a much needed holiday where i spend 99% of the time led down.July I headed to Italy 🇮🇹. Spending 3 days at a festival in Turin, a day visiting Milan and a few days checking Lake Como off the bucket list💐.August was sent trying to get back into the gym and having a well-needed break🏋🏽.September began with a last-min trip to Ibiza for my sisters 18th and ended at an event with @joelcorry and @gkbarry_ somehow🕺🪩.October/November have been spent on building up my little social media business, and building a career doing what i love📸.Finally December ended with a trip of a lifetime to Lapland❄️☃️, unfortunately not meeting Santa but i did get to see the Northern Lights🌲.Excited for what 2025 will bring, happy new year🥂! by @ella.jnmr
