One of the best lessons I’ve learned so far in life is that God’s plan often differs from the one you have for yourself. After multiple knee surgeries and other procedures, unfortunately I’ll have to stop playing soccer earlier than I ever planned. Soccer has truly been one of my biggest blessings in life and I would choose to do it all over again and again no matter the ending. The people I’ve met and the memories I’ve made have been worth the countless sacrifices, blood, sweat, and tears. Clemson and the friends I have made here have been the greatest thing God has brought into my life, and for that alone I will forever be grateful this sport brought me here. There are still so many times I wonder why these things happen to me, but I can see more and more everyday God knows what he is doing even when I can’t see it clearly myself. Medical retirement was not the plan I had for myself, but being able to play this sport for the last 18+ years is something I will forever cherish and thank God for everyday🧡

Thank you to everyone who has helped me at any step of the way. I’m beyond grateful for all of the many people who have poured their time, efforts, and love into me💜

I’m beyond thankful and blessed to be a part of @clemsonwsoccer 💜🧡 by @ella.johnson5
