1 Corinthians 1 has been sitting heavy on my heart and is well worth sharing!! Paul reveals the Lord’s omniscient power and humbles any and all pride in what we might think are our own accomplishments. I’m thankful for the wisdom shared by the sweetest girls at 6:40 a.m. 🤗
-The cross is already impressive and requires no lofty words that humanity can produce to make it seem better than it is. Eloquent speech is useless to something as powerful as the cross.
-We are foolish compared to God’s might. The Lord uses the foolish to shame those who think they are powerful.
-No one can boast in the presence of God. Our pride in our achievements are nothing compared to what Christ has done on the cross. Apart from God we have no wisdom. All that we have and all that we are come from him alone. There is nothing on earth that man has achieved without the hand of God. Christ’s death and resurrection is what has made us right with God, and so if we boast, let us boast ONLY of the Lord!! by @ella.purvis26

Dear Liberty Cheerleading,
The past two years have truly been an unexpected gift from God. This program has shaped me in more ways than I ever thought possible. Cheerleading taught me who I am, what I’m capable of, and how powerful it is when you refuse to give up on yourself. Thank you, Coach Jones and Coach Ally, for taking a chance on me when I needed it most. When I was walking through one of the hardest seasons of my life, I set my heart on something that felt completely out of reach. I needed something to fight for- and somehow that impossible dream became my greatest source of joy.
The most important lesson cheerleading taught me was that I could do anything I set my mind to if I wanted it badly enough. I learned to push myself beyond what I thought I was capable of. Cheerleading showed me the desires the Lord has for my life and taught me how to rely completely on Him; that his way is always better than anything I could imagine. I grew in so many ways and overcame difficulties I might not have made it through if it wasn’t for the coaches and teammates who surrounded me with support and love. I never imagined I’d get to be part of a program as incredible as this one, and now I can’t picture my life without it. Having to walk away from this team feels like leaving a piece of myself behind. This team has given me an abundance of strength I didn’t know I had.
I will carry with me every blessing this program brought into my life and will forever be grateful for all the hard things it got me through. The hours spent on the mat helped me overcome challenges I didn’t know how to face. God provided exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it—He knew I needed Liberty Cheer. When life got rough, cheer gave me a place to breathe, grow, and feel free. This program was my safe place.
Thank you, Liberty Cheerleading, for the sisterhood that lifted me, the lessons that shaped me, and the space where I learned to flourish. I am forever deeply grateful.
Thank you Jesus for Liberty Cheer.
