youthfest 2026💛💛

Even though coming to events like this has become a routine to me regarding the same church, same band, same friends, and the same goal of chasing intimacy with God, I never walk out of it the same.

Starting 2026 I had a new fire for my faith and it has changed me for the better, but I am also walking into a year with a loss behind me. The first year without my grandfather. An unexpected loss this summer that still brings a lingering grief over me and my family. God knew that this grief was a burden I was carrying with me into youth fest and didn’t fail to display his attention to my life. Even with TWO different speakers, he managed to directly speak to my heart and make me view my trials in a new understanding. To not only abide in him with a righteous faith, but to take the time to look longer at the cross. A look that allows me to see how it is finished. My fear, finished. My earning, finished. And my worries, finished. So even in the times of testing, such as loosing someone I thought I would have a lot longer with, I have learned that it opens the opportunity to make a choice. A choice to look back at what I have lost and try to determine what I can do to make the best of it, or to look back at the cross longer and see what Jesus already did. And because of this I can walk confidently knowing that the same spirit that finished the act on the cross and rose him from the dead LIVES in me.

It’s the weekends like this that make it worth it to be a christian because it reminds you that it’s all going to be worth it in the end. I truly am blessed to have access to events like this where I can be spoken over through the truth of Christ. I am beyond thankful for @thefmchurch for allowing this body of Christ to continue reaching generations of students to live more on fire for God. by @ella.schur

oh what a joy it is to love Christ. 😌

I am at a loss of words. The experience I had for my 3rd year of camp with fm has been one like no other. The things I have learned, the friendships that were created, and the memories that were made started my summer off in the best way possible.

I couldn’t be more grateful for the community my church has given me. The counselors I was blessed with wasn’t a coincidence and God couldn’t have placed 2 better people in my life. Abby and Taylor listened, prayed, and taught like no other. To have someone take their own precious time to mentor students like me is something I couldn’t thank them for enough.

Living as a Christian is no where near easy. But it’s the times like this which remind me what an honor and a privilege it is to be a Christian. I walk freely as my debt is paid and my crimson stains have been washed clean. The highest place I will reach places me at the feet of Jesus, and I will continue to live in His name.
