There is a lot of darkness in our world. But luckily in this world there is a light, “a beacon on a hill that cannot be hidden”. This light is Jesus Christ our savior. A light unlike no other, a love so deep, so abundant, so fulfilling. I see this light in these kids. When Alix is on my shoulders, giving her rounds of bear hugs, when Layah is dancing and singing her heart out for the Lord at VBS, when Paris is asking me the most deep and curious questions about God while braiding her hair, when CeCe is taking care of her brother while carrying the biggest grin on her face, and when Princess asks if she can have every single pink glitter nail polish to make everyone’s nails pretty. These children carry the light of Jesus in their actions and their childlike faith. It is such a gift to be able to continually witness this love unfold, while also serving this community and telling these children about the light that saved my life, Jesus. by @ella__anne16
