for the last two years i’ve been going in circles, coming back to places i’ve already been, always forgetting that life doesn’t stop when i’m gone. every time i return, everything has already changed. for some reason that surprises me so much. a normal natural process: people are leaving, places are closing. something new begins.

for the last two weeks i was living in montenegro at a rehearsal space near the waterfall, waking up to the sound of drums, falling asleep in a haze of chaos. i played six little shows along the coast during those two weeks. it was a nice trip.

now the place that used to be my home there doesn’t exist anymore. everything is changing so fast, and i still can’t get used to it.

i don’t know when i’ll come back,
but i’m so grateful for the people i met there
and for all the music we shared. taken in Montenegro by @ella_frdmn
