365 days of officially being my crazy, energetic, water obsessed, chicken, stink, fat boy. ❤️

One year ago today, I made the decision to bring you home to my little college home thinking you needed me. What I didn’t realize was how much I needed you. Somewhere along the way, you became so much more than just my dog, you became my best friend, my shadow, and one of the best things that’s ever happened me.

Thank you for a year full of zoomies, stolen snacks, muddy paws, slobbery kisses, endless cuddles, and enough energy to power an entire city. You keep me on my toes every single day, drive me crazy sometimes, and somehow make every hard day a little easier just by being there.

When nursing school and life feels heavy, you give me a reason to smile when I walk in the door to your wiggly worm self after a long day. You saved me more than you’ll ever know, and I will forever be grateful for the love you’ve brought into my life.

To my fat boy, my chicken stink boy, my favorite adventure buddy, and my biggest source of unconditional love, thank you for the best year. You live a pretty crazy college life for a dog. I love you more than words can ever explain. Happy Gotcha Day, Cass. Here’s to many more years of chaos, cuddles, and memories together. by @ellachillog
